Nitrox Course

Basic Open Water Diver certification by any recognized agency is a pre-requisite. Proof of certification is required.

Nitrox is a term used for gases containing less nitrogen and more oxygen than normal breathing air. The use of Nitrox will permit the diver to safely remain submerged for a longer period of time but has other restrictions such as depth and cumulative exposure limits. The PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) course will train the diver to safely manage this new breathing gas and take advantage of it's benefits. Classwork, written examinations and two open water dives using Nitrox are required for this course. Successful candidates will receive a PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) certification card.
